Handwritten labels, on purpose

Palm, arid, alpine, fernery. We open at dusk because some flowers refuse the afternoon.

Sunset through the main glasshouse

The alpine house still uses pencil. Latin on the first line, a date of accession on the second.

When a name changes, we strike it. We do not print a new world.

Visitors photograph the handwriting. That is fine. It is not a brand. It is how we remember what we thought we had.

We did not add evening hours as an event. The plants were already working after dark. We simply unlocked the door.
